2. Hosting and server logs

When you visit this website, the hosting infrastructure automatically processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and date and time of access. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and to defend against misuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, stable website). Logs are deleted after a short period.

Stored website data (such as enquiries) is kept in a data centre within the European Union.

3. Contact form

When you submit the contact form, I process the details you provide: name, email address, organisation (optional), type of enquiry, event details, topic, and your message. To prevent spam, your IP address is temporarily recorded to limit the number of submissions.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for speaking or advisory requests (steps prior to a contract), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Email

After you submit the form, you receive an automatic confirmation email and I receive a notification of your enquiry. These emails are sent through an email delivery service acting on my behalf. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

5. LinkedIn, WhatsApp and phone links

This website links to LinkedIn and WhatsApp and offers a phone link. No data is sent to these services simply by visiting this website. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party tracking tools. Therefore, no cookie consent banner is required.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, please use the contact form.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW).
